Dual Pricing

The Dual Pricing charges the cardholder a surcharge when using a credit card verses a traditional payment method (cash or check) This solution eliminates all fees that would normally be charged to merchant.

The merchant receives a deposit of the gross sale amount minus the surcharge (and assessments if applicable).

Merchant then only pays a flat monthly fee at the end of the month.

The Dual Pricing Program works by providing your customers with a cash and credit price. If the customer pays by cash, they receive a lower price. If they pay by credit card they pay the slightly higher price, which includes your cost of processing.

You eliminate your business’ credit card processing fees and encourage your customers to use cash, while still providing them with the option to pay by credit.

  • $100 Sale

    The merchant enters $100 into the terminal. The terminal displays $1003.00 before the customer enters their card.

  • $100 X 3.99% = $3.99
    $100 + $3.99 = $103.99

    The transaction is completed $03.99, charging the customer the process fee.

  • No Additional Fees Are Charged Monthly

    The merchant closes the batch at night and sees $100 deposited into their account the next business day.

The Support Your Business Deserves

  • A discount is applied to transactions for customers who pay with cash.
  • The program can be customized. A merchant can choose to only pass part of the discount rate through to their cardholders (i.e. the merchant pays 2% and charges their cardholders 2%) or eliminate their monthly transaction fees altogether by charging cardholders the full amount.
  • Merchants in the tip industry pay the Cash Dual Pricing rate on tip amounts. They can choose to charge the Servers a percentage of tips paid to them with credit cards, or absorb this cost since their credit card processing costs are nearly eliminated with this program implemented.
